My work focuses on exploring the inner spirituality and symbolism of the objects around me, as well as the special moments in my life that touch me. My painting language is based on the passing of time, the expression of existence and eternity. I also pay attention to the depiction of the poetic and artistic atmosphere of the painting, and explore the mysterious, quiet and eternal visual experience.

 

I was inspired by misty poetry and magical realism, especially the mystery and poetry conveyed in these works touched me. Also, my work revolves around the philosophical issues, such as time, life, and the meaning of existence. 

 

So, In the process of painting, I use a scraper to destroy the surface of painting when I finish, break the original shape and then paint again，which make things in my paintings look blurry, as if they are disappearing. Because I think everything goes away with time. Therefore, the viewer can see some broken traces and textures and damaged shapes in my works. Between this perfection and imperfection, there is a special beauty. Create and destroy, break and refactor. This process is like the destruction and rebirth of a civilization. 

 

I hope to convey to the viewer a mystical, poetic, quiet, eternity, and solemn visual experience and resonance through my works, as well as to inspire them to think about the philosophical meaning of time, existence, and realism and discover the beauty of imperfections.
